XDROP BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Xdrop (Pty) Ltd herein referred to as (“we,” “us,” “our,” "XDROP")
1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Conditions for Returns
• You may return a product within 7 working days from the date of delivery.
• The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
• For returns due to customer error (e.g. wrong selection, no longer wanted), the customer is responsible for all return-related courier and restocking costs.
• Certain items are excluded from returns due to hygiene, safety, or perishability. Always refer to the product description to confirm eligibility. However, all other products are eligible for refund if returned under the conditions outlined in this policy.
At Xdrop (Pty) Ltd., customer satisfaction is a top priority. As a South African-based online store, we work closely with trusted local, vetted suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of all physical products sold on our platform. Our returns and refunds policy is designed to offer clear protection for our customers in line with the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable South African laws.
1.2 Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
• If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must report it within 24 hours of receipt.
• An image or video clearly showing the issue is required for assessment.

1.3 Non-returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
• Xcash vouchers and gift cards
• Downloadable digital products
• Personal care or hygiene items (e.g. undergarments)
• Customised or personalised items
• Perishable goods
• Products marked as non-returnable in the product listing
• Any product deemed non-returnable by Xdrop's internal review process
2. RETURN PROCESS
2.1 How to Initiate a Return
• Contact us at info@xdrop.co.za within 24 hours of receiving your item.
• Provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographic or video evidence of any defect or damage.
• Once validated, we will issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number and provide return instructions.
2.2 Processing Returns
• Customers may be required to return the item directly to the supplier or designated warehouse, as advised.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring items are properly packaged and returned in original, undamaged condition.
• If the return is due to defect or damage, we will inform you if return shipping costs will be covered or reimbursed.
2.3 Where Returns May Be Rejected
• If the product is not returned in its original condition or if it arrives damaged or missing parts, a partial refund or no refund may be issued.
• If the return does not follow the correct RA procedure, or is initiated outside of the 7-day window, it may be declined.
• Products not purchased through Xdrop, but returned to us, may be discarded or returned at your expense.
3. REFUND TERMS
3.1 Refund Approval
• Refunds are issued only after the item has been received and inspected.
• Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider.
3.2 Partial Refunds or Deductions
• Partial refunds may apply where returned goods are incomplete, damaged, or used.
• Restocking fees and courier charges may be deducted from your refund in such cases.
3.3 Refunds for Non-Delivered Orders
• If your order is not delivered due to supplier or courier fault, and the item is unavailable, we will issue a full refund for the item value.
4. SHIPPING COSTS
4.1 Customer Responsibility
• For returns due to customer error or preference, the customer bears full responsibility for return courier costs.
• For confirmed defective or incorrect items reported within 24 hours, return shipping may be covered by Xdrop (case-by-case basis).
4.2 Delivery Fees Are Not Deducted
• Xdrop offers free delivery on all products. No delivery fees are charged at checkout and therefore no delivery fee will be deducted from refunds.
5. EXCHANGE POLICY
5.1 Exchanges
• We do not offer direct exchanges.
• To exchange an item, return the original product following our return policy, and place a new order separately.
• The returned item will be refunded per our normal refund process.
6. XCASH VOUCHERS & DIGITAL CREDITS
6.1 Non-Refundable Status
• All Xcash vouchers and digital credits are non-refundable and non-returnable once issued, regardless of whether they have been used.
6.2 Usage and Expiry
• Vouchers must be used before their expiry date, which is stated at time of issue or defaults to 36 months.
• Expired vouchers are forfeited and hold no value after expiration.
6.3 Loss or Misuse
• Xdrop is not liable for lost, stolen, or misused voucher codes. Vouchers are treated as cash and cannot be reissued unless verifiable proof of non-redemption is provided.
6.4 Fraud Prevention
• Any suspected fraud, resale, or abuse of Xcash vouchers will result in immediate deactivation and may lead to legal action.
7. DIGITAL SERVICES & SUBSCRIPTIONS
• Digital services or subscriptions (e.g., software access, apps, or media) are non-refundable.
• By purchasing digital access, you acknowledge that the service is prepaid and cannot be cancelled or reversed once delivered or activated.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
• Xdrop shall not be held liable for delays in return or refund processing due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, national strikes, system outages, or regulatory actions.
9. GOVERNING LAW
This Returns & Refunds Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2.4. In rare cases, delivery may take up to 50 days from the date of dispatch. We appreciate your patience and commitment to keeping you informed throughout.
3. Shipping Pricing, Delivery, and Taxes
3.1. Delivery is included in the purchase price of all orders; no separate shipping fees apply.
3.2. Prices listed on our website include applicable South African VAT at 15%, where relevant.
3.3. Import duties and taxes generally do not apply to orders shipped within South Africa. For international shipments, import taxes or customs duties are typically not charged. However, in rare instances, customs authorities may impose import fees which are billed directly to the customer. Xdrop does not mark up or profit from such fees and is not responsible for their assessment or collection.
3.4. Xdrop reserves the right to cancel or amend orders if pricing errors are discovered, notifying customers prior to processing.
4. Delivery Locations
4.1. We deliver to all serviceable addresses within South Africa and select international locations, depending on product availability.
4.2. Delivery times and serviceability may vary for remote or restricted locations, and Xdrop will communicate any such limitations promptly.
5. Order Tracking
5.1. Once your order has been dispatched, Xdrop will provide tracking details where available, allowing you to monitor the shipment status.
5.2. Tracking updates depend on courier partners and logistics providers and may experience delays beyond our control.
6. Delivery and Receipt

7.2. Returned packages resulting from failed delivery attempts may lead to order cancellation and refunds issued less any applicable shipping or restocking fees.
